Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Spotted on Geekbench With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, comprising the vanilla Tab S9, the Tab S9+, and the Tab S9 Ultra, will be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Ahead of its debut, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra has appeared on Geekbench, revealing key details about the device.

Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Geekbench Score

The high-end Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra was spotted on Geekbench bearing the model number SM-X910 and a Qualcomm SoC, codenamed kalama. The prime core has a peak clock speed of 3.36GHz and the four performance cores have a clock speed 2.8GHz. Meanwhile, the three efficiency cores clock in at 2.02GHz.

As for the Geekbench score, the Tab S9 Ultra scored 2086 points in the single-core test, and 5686 points in the multi-core test. The device listed on Geekbench is a Wi-Fi-only model.

Additionally, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will come with at least 12GB of RAM. The tablet may also come in 256GB and 512GB storage options. When it comes to the operating system, the device will run Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box.

Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Rumored Features

According to previous rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will sport a 14.6-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2960 x 1849 pixels. It may feature a high refresh rate of 120Hz.

The Tab S9 Ultra is expected to feature an 11,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It could also get an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

As for the design, previously leaked CAD renders reveal that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will feature a dual camera setup at the rear. The tablet will sport thicker bezels and there will be a notch to accommodate the selfie camera.

The Tab S9 Ultra will have a metal unibody with a speaker grille and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. At the left-hand side, the tablet will feature pogo connector pins for the external keyboard. It will also have a provision to magnetically attach the S pen to the device.
