Google Pixel Tablet Revealed in Official Image Leak Ahead of I/O 2023

Google's annual I/O event is set to begin on May 10th. During the upcoming developer event, the search giant will reveal its ongoing work on AI and ML, discuss the next version of Android-Android 14-and reveal a slew of hardware for all of us to geek out on.

Even though Google has been tight-lipped about which products it will showcase, the rumor mill has our back, and this time the long-awaited Google Pixel tablet appears, giving us a good look at how the device looks from the front.

The Pixel Tablet, along with the Pixel 7 series, was teased last year. However, Google did not reveal much about the tablet at the time, but it now appears that the company's new Pixel tablet will be released later this month.

Google Pixel Tablet Gets Leaked

The leak comes courtesy of prominent tipster Evan Blass, who shared the image of the tab on his Twitter account. We can see from the image that the tablet has slightly thick bezels around the display. When held vertically, we can also see the front camera on the tablet's right bezel.

Because Google wants people to use the tablet with a dock, the placement of the front camera is quite precise, as it can also assist with video calls. The dock has pogo pins and magnets to help it easily attach the tablet to it. There is a single camera sensor located on the back panel.

Furthermore, the device's body appears to be beige in color, as opposed to the white-colored bezels. Last year, Google showcased the Pixel tablet in a green colorway with black bezels, and reports suggest that the device will be available in four colors.

The tablet will have an aluminum body made of recycled materials with a porcelain-like nano-ceramic finish.

Google Pixel Tablet: Rumored Specifications

The upcoming Google Pixel tablet's key specifications have also been leaked. The tablet is expected to come with a 10.95-inch display featuring a 1600 x 2560-pixel resolution and will be powered by Google's in-house Tensor G2 processor, which is also found in the Pixel 7 series.

It will feature an 8MP front and rear camera, and support 18W fast charging, although the battery capacity remains unknown. The Pixel tablet will launch with at least 8GB of RAM and two storage options, with the base 128GB model priced between EUR 600-650 (roughly ₹54,100-₹58,600) and will run on Android 13 out of the box.
