iQOO Pad Specifications and Launch Date Revealed

iQOO is planning to launch its first Android tablet, the iQOO Pad, on May 23 in China. Ahead of its debut, the brand has shared a teaser of the device, revealing key details about the processor and display.

iQOO Pad Rumored Features

Going by the teaser, the iQOO Pad appears quite similar to the Vivo Pad 2 which debuted last month. It is reported that iQOO's upcoming tablet could be a rebadged version of the Vivo Pad 2.

However, unlike the Vivo Pad 2, the iQOO Pad will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor based on TSMC's 4nm process. The chipset includes a Cortex-X2 core and three Cortex A710 cores. According to the teaser, the tablet will come with a 14442 square mm heat dissipation area to aid cooling.

When it comes to the design, the iQOO Pad will sport flat edges and curved corners. At the rear will be a circular camera module for the dual camera setup and LED flash. The tablet will measure 6.59 mm at its thinnest point and weigh approximately 585 grams.

Accompanying the processor will be a Mali G710 MC10 GPU. It will also come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The low-end model will get 8GB RAM and 128GB storage while the high-end version will get 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It will also come in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB options.

As for the display, the iQOO Pad will sport a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution of 2,800 x 1,968 pixels. The panel will have a 144Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, and HDR10 support.

The iQOO Pad will be powered by a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. When it comes to the operating system, the device will ship with Android 13.
