The Redmi Pad 2 has been launched in select global markets, which comes as the successor to the original Redmi Pad. The new tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra chipset and packs a massive 9000mAh battery, among other notable upgrades. Redmi Pad 2 Specs
The Redmi Pad 2 has an unibody metal design, offering users a sophisticated tactile experience. It sports a 11-inch (1,600×2,560 pixels) display with 90Hz refresh rate. The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra SoC, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, which also supports additional storage expansion of up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.

For optics, the Redmi Pad 2 has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The tablet is also compatible with the Redmi Smart Pen, which delivers a 60Hz refresh rate when used with Redmi Pad 2 4G. On the software front, the tab runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.

Redmi Pad 2 India Launch Date
Xiaomi has already announced the India's launch date for the Redmi Pad 2 tablet, which will take place on June 18. Both Wi-Fi + Cellular variants will be available in the country and are expected to be priced under Rs. 20,000.
