Xiaomi has announced the 5G version of the Redmi Pad Pro in China, which was originally launched last month with Wi-Fi connectivity. The new 5G version of the Pad Pro comes with dual SIM support, offering 5G connectivity in both SIMs.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G has a 12.1-inch (2560 × 1600 pixels) 2.5K LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage which also supports an additional storage expansion of up to 1.5TB using microSD card.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G also packs a 10,000 mAh battery unit with 33W fast charging support. It runs on Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS and features an 8MP camera sensor on both the rear and front panels. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, quad speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and so on.

As far as the price is concerned, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G price starts at 1,999 yuan (around Rs 22,994) for the 6GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB model is priced at 2399 yuan (around Rs 27,595). It is offered in single a Dark Grey colour variant in China.
