Performance and Storage

Under the hood, the Redmi Pad SE is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip, built on a 6nm process. This efficient octa-core processor is paired with LPDDR4x RAM and offers eMMC 5.1 storage. Running on MIUI 14 for Pad, based on Android 13, it ensures smooth performance for multitasking and app usage.

Camera and Audio

The tablet features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, making it suitable for casual photography and video calls. What sets it apart in its price range are the Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers, which deliver impressive audio quality. Additionally, it includes a 3.5mm headphone jack for those who prefer wired audio.

Connectivity and Battery

In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Pad SE offers dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0, ensuring reliable wireless connections. It also includes GPS for location services. Powering the device is a sizable 8,000mAh battery, although it charges relatively slowly with a 10W adapter over USB Type-C.

Pricing in China

One of the tablet's most significant advantages is its affordability in Xiaomi's home country, China. The Redmi Pad SE starts at just ¥999 (approximately $135) for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

There are also options for 8GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of storage, priced at ¥1,099 (about $150) and ¥1,299 (around $180), respectively. Customers in China can choose from three attractive color options: gray, purple, and green. The tablet is already available for purchase in the country.
