Vivo Pad 5e with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, 10,000 mAh Battery, 144Hz Display Launched Alongisde X300 Series
Vivo has introduced its latest tablet, the Vivo Pad 5e, in China. This launch was part of an event on September 25, where Vivo also revealed the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro smartphones. The new tablet is a fresh addition to the Vivo Pad 5 lineup, which already includes the Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro models. Alongside these devices, Vivo also launched the Watch GT 2 and TWS 5.
The Vivo Pad 5e features a large 12-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It will be available in three colours: blue, black, and purple. A soft light version will be offered in blue and black. Sales begin on October 17 through Vivo's online store in China.

Vivo Pad 5e Specifications
The tablet runs on Android 15-based OriginOS 5 and boasts a high-resolution display of 2.8K with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The device supports up to 16GB of RAM and offers storage options up to 512GB. The base model comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
For audio enthusiasts, the Vivo Pad 5e includes a four-speaker panoramic acoustic setup. It also integrates AI tools like AI transcription, Circle to search, AI PPT assistant, multi-screen interconnection, small window collaboration, and wireless printing capabilities.
The tablet's camera setup includes an 8-megapixel rear camera housed in a circular module and a front-facing camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels for selfies. It is equipped with a substantial battery capacity of 10,000mAh that supports fast charging at 44W via USB Type-C.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth version 5.4. For security purposes, the device features facial recognition technology for biometric authentication. In terms of design and portability, the standard version of the Vivo Pad 5e measures 266.43 × 192 × 6.62 mm and weighs 584 grams, making it a slim yet substantial device suited for productivity as well as entertainment.
Pricing Details
The Vivo Pad 5e starts at CNY 1,999 (approximately ₹25,000) for the base model, which includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,299 (around ₹29,000), while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option comes in at CNY 2,599 (about ₹32,000). The top-end standard model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage is available for CNY 2,999 (roughly ₹37,000).
Vivo has also introduced a Soft Light Edition of the tablet, which is priced slightly higher. The model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,199 (approximately ₹27,000), while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration is available for CNY 2,499 (around ₹31,000).
