Apple Store Saket in Delhi to Open Gates at 10AM on April 20

Apple is all set to open doors to it's second official retail store after opening the first one in BKC, Mumbai on April 18. This second store is opening in Saket, New Delhi. Reportedly, it'll employ 70 people for managing the store.

Apple CEO Tim Cook is in India to launch these two stores.

Apple Set To Open Gates to Second Retail Store in India

Apple announced on their website that their store, with its entire experience, is the best way to buy Apple products.

"We're thrilled to bring the best of Apple to our customers in Delhi with the opening of our second store in India, Apple Saket," said Deirdre O'Brien, Apple's senior vice president of retail. "Our incredible team members look forward to connecting with the local community and helping them find new ways to pursue their passions and unleash their creativity through our amazing products and services."

With white oak tables and a feature wall, that has been manufactured in India, the Apple Delhi store looks chic, modern and inviting.

It has a dedicated Apple Pickup station aimed at making it easier for customers to order products online, and pick them up seamlessly from here.

A key highlight to note is that like all other Apple stores, this one too is built on the principles of sustainability, runs on 100 percent renewable energy and is carbon neutral.

Apple Delhi to Employ 70 People and Conduct Daily Sessions

Smaller in size in comparison to its Mumbai counterpart, it aims to employ 70 people, who come from 18 different states in India and can collectively speak over 15 different languages.

The store also has a Genius Bar which will help customers with all their needs beyond buying or browsing products. Users can set up devices, get help in retrieving their Apple IDs and more here.

The store also aims to conduct daily sessions for free for customers, which will teach them basic how-tos as well as complex professional programs. For a personalised experience, they will conduct these in a roundtable format.

Ahead of the launch of this Delhi store, Apple had revealed their wallpaper art and specially curated playlist for the launch of the store.
