Idea Launches 2G Mobile Internet Prepaid Plan at Rs 25

India's third largest mobile operator, Idea Cellular, has recently launched their latest 2G data scheme at the price of Rs. 25, which can be considered as one of the the cheapest data plans in India. The special internet trial pack which is targeted to its prepaid subscribers is mostly targeted to offer its subscribers a 2G experience in a very economical price.

As said earlier, the new internet pack comes at the price of Rs. 25, and to activate the scheme Idea subscribers just need to dial *150*222# and can get 500 MB of 2G data activated. However, the validity for the trial pack is 7 days and the pack can be availed one time only.

The Internet Trial Pack is available at all retail outlets, My Idea Showrooms and Idea Points across Delhi & Haryana circles.

Announcing the new offer, Mr. Sanjeev Govil, Chief Operating Officer, Delhi, IDEA Cellular said, "At Idea, we have always believed in providing more value to our subscribers, through innovative offers, products and schemes. Through these trial packs we entail to provide internet experience to our customers at a very affordable price. Moreover, all telecom operators in India has been throwing different types of plans on 2G data, voice call rate and 3G data as well into the market and it is pretty clear that mobile internet users are actually growing in India. Last month, reliance also reduced their 3G data price by one half while Docomo has recently launched their unlimited calling and roaming free plan at Rs 1,299.
