Xiaomi Announces Summer Service Camp, To Offer Several Support Benefits

Xiaomi has announced the start of a 10-day long Summer Service Camp in India, aimed at helping customers with a wide variety of services. The camp, which will offer special customer support benefits, started on June 1.

During this, Xiaomi and Redmi users are free to avail of special services like battery replacement, zero labour charges, free phone health check-ups, and more. Let's take a closer look.

Xiaomi Summer Service Camp: Date

The company announced the camp through its Twitter handle.

They explained that the camp would be available from 1st June to 10th June, across 1000+ Xiaomi Authorized Service Centres.

During these 10 days, any existing customer of Xiaomi and Redmi user, is free to walk into any of the service centres running the camp, to avail of the benefits. One can find their nearest or most convenient centre by visiting the official Xiaomi website or using the Xiaomi Service+ application to get a complete list of service centres.

Point to note here is that this is just for smartphone owners, and not for owners who may own other products from the brand. The camp is also not available for Poco users.

Xiaomi Summer Service Camp: Benefits

The benefits as highlighted by Xiaomi in their tweet, are:

• 100% free phone health check-up
• 100% off on labour charges
• Free software update
• Up to 50% off on battery replacement

The most attractive offer seems to be the one offering discounts on battery replacements.

However, the company has been quick to add that this offer is only available for select models. The list of select models hasn't been revealed yet. Age of the model is likely to be a deciding factor on whether one qualifies for the discount or not. Newer models are likely to be among the selected models. The discount too, may vary, as "upto 50%" has been promised. The discount too, would depend on the model of the phone.

In additional developments on the company front, Xiaomi India has announced extended warranty for five smartphones, namely Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, and POCO X3 Pro.
