Tariff Hike 2024: New Plans from Jio and Airtel

Starting today (July 3), Jio and Airtel have implemented their new plans. The updated prices are now available on their official websites. Notably, unlimited 5G data is now only accessible for plans offering a minimum of 2GB daily data. However, JioBharat and JioPhone customers can continue to avail the previous tariff rates.

On the other side, Airtel's entry-level plans have got a minimal price increase of less than 70p per day. If you're considering a recharge from Airtel and Jio, make sure to check all the latest plans with their revised prices and benefits.

Jio's New Plans

Starting with Jio's Rs 189 prepaid plan, which comes with a total of 2GB of data, 300 SMS, and unlimited voice calls for 28 days. While the Jio Rs 249 prepaid plan offers 1GB of data/day, 100 SMS/day, and unlimited voice calls for 28 days. Both plans bundle free subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and, JioCloud.

The Rs 349 prepaid plan comes with daily data of 2GB and unlimited 5G data, 100 SMS/day for 28 days. There is an annual plan priced at Rs 3599, which offers 2.5GB/day, unlimited 5G and voice call for 365 days. Below here check new prepaid and postpaid plans from Jio.

Airtel's New Plans

Airtel's Rs 299 plan comes with 2GB of data, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS/day for 28 days. There is a Rs 449 plan that offers 3GB of data/day, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS/day for 28 days. The new annual plan is priced at Rs 3599 and offers 2GB daily data, 100 SMS/day, and unlimited calls for 365 days. In the below table, we have mentioned all new prepaid and postpaid plans from Airtel.
