Vodafone Rs. 229 Vs Reliance Jio All-In-One Pack Rs. 222: Benefits, Validity And More
Vodafone has been coming up with several new additions to its portfolio of late. This started back in 2016 due to the competition put forth by Reliance Jio. Since then, these telcos are coming up with offers that are beneficial for consumers.

Recently, Reliance Jio announced that it will charge 60 paise per minute for outgoing calls made to other networks. As it caused disappointment among subscribers, the company came up with special IUC add-ons that will bundle a specific number of non-Jio calls and additional data.
Later, it came up with All-in-One packs for the customers. These All-in-One prepaid packs bundle with the regular tariff plans and free calls to non-Jio networks for up to 1000 minutes. The entry-level All-in-One plan from Jio is priced at Rs. 222 and here is it compared with the recently introduced Vodafone unlimited combo prepaid plan priced at Rs. 229.
Vodafone Rs. 229 Prepaid Plan
Vodafone's Rs. 229 unlimited combo plan is a bonus card, which does not offer any additional talk time benefits. Vodafone subscribers who recharge with this plan will get unlimited voice calls, both local and STD along with 2GB daily data. It also provides 100 SMS per day and access to the Vodafone Play app for a period of 28 days.
Well, at the time of launching this plan, the company discontinued the Rs. 255 prepaid plan offering similar benefits. However, Rs. 255 prepaid plan offers 2.5GB data per day to take on the Airtel Rs. 299 prepaid plan.
Reliance Jio All-In-One Plan Rs. 222
The newly launched Jio All-In-One prepaid plan priced at Rs. 222 provides similar benefits as the Vodafone plan. It offers 2GB data per day, free voice calls between Jio numbers, 1000 minutes of non-Jio calling minutes and 100 SMS per day for a period of 28 days. These benefits are the same as the Rs. 199 prepaid plan. The company has increased the price of the tariff plan to some extent to include the IUC minutes.
Our Thoughts
Having detailed the two plans, we would like to say that Jio plan is priced relatively more affordable than the Vodafone plan. And, it offers faster 4G data speeds as compared to its rivals. As of now, the other rivals such as Airtel and BSNL do not have any such plans.
