It seems that the telecom tariff war is not going to over anytime soon, and amid this Bharti Airtel has added two new data add-on plans for their postpaid subscribers starting at Rs. 100. As there are already very fewer options for postpaid users, earlier there were no add-on plans for users. The company has also added one broadband add-on pack which will provide unlimited data priced at Rs. 299. Here are the details:
Airtel Postpaid Add-On Plan Details
According to TelecomTalk, the first add-on plane comes with a price tag of Rs. 100 and the second one will cost you Rs. 200. The company is offering up to 35GB of additional data on top of whatever your regular plan is offering.
Besides, the company is offering up to 500GB data carry forward option in their account. However, with add-on data plans this benefit will not work. Users won't be able to carry forward remaining data to the next month in case users are unable to utilize them.
Airtel has introduced these new plans months after the removal of its postpaid plans. Also, the company has removed some of the prepaid plans to generate more revenue. The company is offering 15GB of add-on data with Rs. 100 pack and 35GB data with Rs. 200 add-on plan.
Besides, the company has also announced that it is going to hike the price of all the tariff plans starting December 1. Currently, there is no information on what Airtel is planning to do. However, it has been expected that the postpaid plans will also witness a rise.
According to the report, the company is expected to hike the Rs.499 postpaid plan to Rs. 649. Apart from that the plan will offer similar benefits and offers like Airtel Thanks benefits which include three months free subscription for Netflix, Amazon Prime membership free for one-year, ZEE5 Premium subscription and more.
