The State- run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced its new offer in which the company is providing services at discounted rate.
While the company claims that "BSNL was the first operator to provide free national roaming on 15th June 2015," following the same, it has now decided to allow the benefit of Voice/SMS Special Tariff Voucher (STV) and Combo Vouchers in national roaming on the occasion of 71st Independence day on PAN India basis. The offer will be put intoeffect from 15 August' 2017 in areas where BSNL operates.
"Armed force personnel, professionals, business persons, and students will get more benefit from this scheme," BSNL Board Director, Consumer Mobility, R. K. Mittal said.
Moreover, the offer is beneficial to those who frequently travel including Jawans and Journalist who generally stay away from the home.
Presently, if you put any STV then the benefit is available in the home state/ Licensee Service Area (LSA), but from 15th August this benefit will be available even when a person travels outside his home LSA. For example, STV 349 which offers unlimited voice call to any network in home LSA, now with the new offer the benefit of the unlimited voice call on any network will be available even when a customer is traveling away from Home LSA in any area where BSNL operates.
Meanwhile, the company has also recently launched "Rakhi pe Saugaat" plan for prepaid users. Under this new plan, the telecom operator is providing combo voucher worth Rs. 74 to its users.
The new offer will also provide unlimited voice call on the net along with 1GB free data and Rs. 74 talk value on another network with the validity of five days. This offer was launched on August 3.
