Just days after Reliance Jio introduced its new plans, BSNL has revised its Rs. 108 prepaid plan. In fact, BSNL has already listed this plan in its Chennai website, as a promotional offer. The telco is now offering this plan until December 12, 2019. The plan was launched in July this year as a promotional offer for 90 days, reports Gadgets 360.

Under this plan, the users get unlimited calling to all networks. However, this service is not available in Delhi and Mumbai. It includes 500SMS and 1GB data for 28 days. But, there is a catch. BSNL is providing this plan in Chennai at the moment. Apart from revising the Rs. 108 plan, BSNL has also extended the availability of Rs. 1,188 Mathuram prepaid plan. The company is now offering this plan until January 21, 2020, instead of October 23.

The Rs. 1,188 plan offers 5GB of 2G/3G/4G data for 345 days. It includes unlimited voice calling to all networks, including the Mumbai and Delhi circles. Furthermore, voice calls are limited to just 250 minutes per day, after that, users will have to pay for calls. Besides, this plan provides 1,200 SMS messages for the whole validity period.

For the unaware, BSNL has been trying to improve its offerings lately. The company has also brought back its prepaid recharge vouchers, which start from Rs. 96. The Rs. 96 plan is currently offering free voice calls to all networks and 250 minutes of talk time per day only. On the other hand, BSNL has joined hands with private cable operators in Visakhapatnam, to offer its triple-play services. It ships telephone, high-speed internet, and cable network.

The government-owned telecom operator has over 10 million broadband customers at present. So, this move by the company shows that the company is trying really hard to give a tough fight to other broadband players.
