BSNL Offering 420GB Data For Seven Months: Here How's To Take Advantage
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new plan for its prepaid customers. The new Rs. 998 plan offers benefits for seven months along with 420GB data. However, users will not get any SMS and voice calling benefits. This prepaid plan is available in all telecom circles. So, here are details of the newly launched plan.
BSNL Rs. 998 Prepaid Plans: Benefits And Details
The new Rs. 998 prepaid plan offers 2GB data daily for 210 days. Which means users will get 420GB data without any calling benefit. However, the speed will be reduced to 40Kbps after the FUP is reached. It also ships with Personalised Ringback Tone (PRBT) benefit for the first two months, reports TelecomTalk. According to the report, the company has launched this plan for its customers in Kerala.
On the other hand, Airtel is offering Rs. 998 plan, where it is offering 12GB and 300 SMSes. The plan includes unlimited local, STD, and national roaming with no FUP limit for 336 days. Comparatively, Vodafone's Idea is also providing the same benefits at Rs. 999. It includes unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day for 365 days.
Besides, users get 12GB data for the entire period, which is quite low when compared to other long-term validity. This plan has been introduced to compete with Airtel's Rs. 998 prepaid pack.
Moreover, BSNL has launched a new plan worth Rs. 1,699 for prepaid users. It includes 100 SMS daily messages, 250 minutes of free calling per day, and 2GB data daily. In addition, the company is providing additional benefits, where users will get 1GB extra data in November and December.
Ever since the government announced its merger with MTNL, the PSU is on a roll. But launching a new plan for one state will not help the operator, to attract new users. Airtel and Vodafone are offering benefits in all circles.
