BSNL Reduces Validity For Its Prepaid Plans In Kerala Circle: Report
Telecom operator in India has recently hiked the price of their tariff plans after December 1, and now BSNL has also become the part of it. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reduced the validity of some of the prepaid only in Kerala circle. But this might be an indication that the telco is planning to hike the price in other circles as well.

According to the report, the telco has reduced the validity for unlimited plans like Rs. 118, Rs. 187, Rs. 153, and more. After the 40 percent traffic hike by Airtel, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio, BSNL is the only operator who is offering better-prepaid plans in the telecom industry.
However, it seems that BSNL is only going to reduce the validity of the existing prepaid plans. Now the aforementioned plans are only offering 21 days validity in Kerala circle. Meanwhile, the same plans are offering a validity of 28 days with benefits like 0.58GB data per day, 100SMS per day, 250 minutes for voice calling daily for 28 days.
The Rs. 186 and Rs. 187 plans are providing 3GB daily data, 250 minutes local and STD calls, and 100 SMS per day for 24 days in Kerala, where the same plans come with 28 days validity in other circles. The validity of Rs. 153 plan is also cut down to 21 days.
Recently, the company has revised the validity of Rs. 29 and Rs. 47 plan for all the circles. However, Rs. 1,699 plans still remain the same and offering benefits for 365 days.
BSNL has also reduced the validity of Rs. 399 prepaid plan which offers 80 days of validity. Now, in Kerala circle, it will only offer 65 days of validity. Although it will offer the same benefits which include 1GB daily data, 250 minutes of voice calling and 100 SMS per day.
