BSNL Revises Its Prepaid Plans With Reduced Validity
Despite the fact that other operators are increasing the prices of their tariffs to improve their average revenue per user. BSNL is coming up with different ways to do the same. The state-run telecom operator has reportedly reduced the validity of two plans.
These prepaid plans which are priced at Rs. 29 and Rs. 47. Besides, BSNL is also removing three special tariff vouchers such as Rs. 7, Rs. 9, and Rs. 192. These plans have been removed from all the circles.
BSNL Revised Prepaid Plans: Price And Validity
Let's start with Rs. 29 plan, where customers used to get unlimited local, STD voice calling to any network, except Delhi and Mumbai. It includes 1GB data and 300 SMS messages, and free access to PRBT (Personalised Ringback Tone), for seven days.
But, this plan will offer these benefits for only five days. The Rs. 47 prepaid plan is offering 1GB data, unlimited local, and STD calls for nine days. But now, this plan is valid for seven days, reports TelecomTalk.
BSNL Withdraws Three Plans: Detailed
Meanwhile, the company has removed three plans. The company has removed Rs. 7, Rs. 9 and Rs. 192. For the unaware, the company used to offer 1GB data for one day. While Rs. 9 STV offered unlimited voice calls along with 250 minutes cap, 100MB data, and 100 SMS one day. On the other hand, Rs. 192 used to provide 3GB daily data, unlimited data, and PRBT for 28 days.
Apart from that, BSNL has finally disbursed the October salary. However, there will be chances that the salary will be delayed further. BSNL always pays salaries to its employees on the last working days of every month and this is the fifth time that BSNL has missed the target. The company has delayed salaries for 23 days.
