BSNL Rs. 698 Prepaid Plan Launched: Data Benefits, Validity And More

BSNL, the state-run telecom operator is hitting the tech headlines almost every other day, Now, the telecom operator has come up with a new prepaid plan in an attempt to stiffen the competition with rival operators. The new prepaid plan is priced at Rs. 698 and it is a long-term plan with a validity of 180 days.

Well, the new BSNL prepaid plan is available only in select circles for now. It offers 200GB of data but does not bundle any SMS or voice calling benefits. This new prepaid plan is live on the telco's website and is reportedly said to be a limited period plan, which will not be available from mid-November.

BSNL Rs. 698 Prepaid Plan

BSNL Rs. 698 prepaid plan is suitable for those subscribers who consume a lot of data and are not interested in voice calls and SMS benefits. As of now, this plan is available for the telco's subscribers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh claims a report by TelecomTalk.

Unlimited Voice Calling Plans

The new BSNL Rs. 698 prepaid plan comes after the news that the telco has revised a slew of its prepaid plans. Well, BSNL was in the headlines last week as it revised the Rs. 429, Rs. 485, and Rs. 666 prepaid plans. After the revision, these plans offer unlimited voice calls.

Also, it came up with a Diwali offer for its landline and broadband users. As per the same, for the time period between October 27 and October 28, subscribers of the landline and broadband service were able to enjoy unlimited voice calling to any mobile or landline number.

BSNL is competing hard against the other rivals in the telecom segment in the country. It is coming up with many new plans and revising its existing portfolio to offer additional benefits and make its offerings lucrative. The recent offering, which is Rs. 698 prepaid plan is quite beneficial for the heavy data users using up 1GB of data per day. If you are interested in this plan, then you should likely recharge for the same before November 15.
