Idea launches 4G services in Jodhpur & Udaipur, offering 1GB 4G data at Rs 95

With an aim to expand its 4G reach, India's third largest telecom operator Idea Cellular has announced the launch its 4G services in key towns of Jodhpur and Udaipur in Rajasthan.

The idea is fast transitioning from being a pure telecom services provider to an 'integrated digital services provider' to deliver on the Digital India mission", adds Khanna.

The company has launched its 4G services in Rajasthan earlier this year and now Idea has rapidly expanded coverage and its 4G services are now available in 111 towns of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, Bhiwadi, Chomu, Kota, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Sikar, Alwar, and Pushkar, in addition to Jodhpur and Udaipur.

In Rajasthan, Idea's 4G services are available in 111 towns and nearly 1,300 villages, through a strong network of nearly 2,100 4G sites. The idea has a base of over 81 lakh subscribers in Rajasthan.

The company has also launched its digital applications for the on-the-move consumers of Rajasthan. As part of the Digital Idea offerings, in which the Idea is offering 3 entertainment apps - Idea Music, Idea Movies & TV and Idea Games for its over 81 lakh customers in Rajasthan circle.

The idea has been rapidly rolling out 4G network across the country. Idea's broadband coverage is now present in 5,888 Census Towns and 105,755 Villages in India making it 'India's Big 4G network'.

The company is also offering a complimentary 4G SIM upgrade by visiting Idea showrooms and leading retail outlets across 4G towns in Rajasthan.Customers will also get promotional data and 4G data tariff plans after upgrading to 4G SIM and as an introductory offer, Idea is providing 1GB of 4G data at just Rs. 95 for 28 days.

Also, there is a 4G handset upgrade offer, under which users will get unlimited voice and data offer of 1GB data per day for 84 days at Rs. 392.
