Reliance Jio has been in the news for a while now for all the good and bad. The good thing is the 90-day preview offer for selected users, and the bad comes from its rivals saying that the company is running a promotional offer with the name of trial offer.
Yesterday, we have received the tariff plans of Reliance Jio, which were insane. And, today, the official launch date of the service popped in the news.
If the rumors were to be believed, Mukesh Ambani will commercially launch the Reliance Jio at the company's Annual General Meeting. However, this may not be the final one as we have previously said that the services will launch on August 15, but that didn't happen.
Reports also say that Mukesh Ambani also has some big announcements at the annual meeting. One will surely the tariff plans of Reliance Jio and there are some other announcements as well apart from Jio, which is still unknown.
Here's what we can expect from the launch event of Reliance Jio.
Reliance Jio Official Announcement
Well, this question has been in the news for more than a better part of the year. The service is said to launch at several dates, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. And the more recent one was in this month itself. The service is said to go public on August 15, but unfortunately, we didn't see that.
Now, the real deal is 'Will Reliance launch the service'. As per our sources, they are pretty clear that Reliance Jio will be announced by Mukesh Ambani tomorrow.
90-Day Trial Phase for Every User
If Reliance launches the Reliance Jio services tomorrow at the event, it is widely expected that the company will surely not launch the final product of the service, but rather open the service for all. Anyone over 18 years can get their own SIM card by submitting the KYC Documents at a Reliance store.
Make a Note! Only 4G Enabled Smartphones
After it goes official, everyone can't use the SIM card as the service is completely licensed for only 4G. We, at GizBot, have already covered the trick to using the Reliance Jio SIM card on a 3G phone. Have a look at that by clicking here.
Pre-Activated SIM for Enterprise Users
This news also popped out today. After its official launch, the company will be giving a pre-registered Jio SIM cards for enterprise users. However, it isn't official yet and there is no information on which enterprises the company will reach for this offer.
Prepaid and Postpaid Tariffs
This is expected anyways. If the service goes official tomorrow, they will surely release the tariff plans for both prepaid and postpaid. Also, a leaked photo yesterday revealed some of the packs and they are uber cheap when compared to other telecom networks.
If Not Tomorrow?
Suppose, if the service did not launch tomorrow, then the official launch will be on December 28 on behalf of the Mukesh Ambani's birthday as some previous suggested this date. We are excited about the launch date! Aren't you?
