Reliance Jio Vs Airtel Vs Vodafone: Prepaid Plans Compared

|

Reliance Jio has recently launched all-in-one plans for its prepaid users. These plans are priced at Rs. 222, Rs. 333, Rs. 444, and Rs 555. Under these new plans, users will get unlimited calling to the same network, free data, and 1000 minutes of IUC minutes for calls to other networks. However, Jio's Rs. 222 plan will take on Airtel's Rs 249 plan, and the Rs. 229 plan by Vodafone. So, today we have come up with a comparison among these plans. Do give it a read.

Reliance Jio Vs Airtel Vs Vodafone: Prepaid Plans Compared

Reliance Jio's Rs. 222 Prepaid Plan: Validity And Benefits

The first plan starts at Rs. 222 per month, where Jio is offering 2GB of daily 4G data, unlimited calls to other Jio numbers across India. It includes 1,000 minutes of calling to other networks and unlimited SMSes. That means users will get 56 GB of data, for 28 days. Besides, this plan includes a subscription to all Jio apps, including Jio TV, and Jio Cinema.

Airtel Rs. 249 Prepaid Plan: Validity And Benefits

Under this plan, Airtel is providing unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls for 28 days. This plan also ships 2GB data and subscriptions for the Airtel XStream video streaming service. Also, users get the subscription to the Airtel Wynk along with with Rs. 4 lakh Term Life Insurance plan from HDFC Life. It is worth mentioning that Airtel is providing unlimited calls to other networks with this plan. While Jio is only offering 1000 minutes of calling and this is also a bone of contention between Jio and other operators.

Vodafone Rs. 229 Prepaid Plan: Benefits And Validity

Vodafone is very active in terms of launching new plans. The company has recently launched Rs. 229 plan, where it is offering unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls in India for 28 days. Apart from offering data benefits, this plan offers free 100 SMS per day, free live TV, movies and access to Vodafone Play App.

There is no doubt that Jio is very aggressive in terms of launching plans, but providing only 1000 minutes for calling to all networks is not acceptable at this point in time when others are offering unlimited calling and 250 minutes of calling benefit per day for 20 days. That means 7,000 minutes of calling to other networks. So, we believe that Jio should provide more benefits to attract new users towards this plan. On the other hand, Airtel is offering a Term Life Insurance plan from HDFC Life with its Rs. 249 plan, which we believe will definitely help the company to increase its subscriber base.
