Vi Rs. 340 Prepaid Plan Launched With Daily Data and Nighttime Bonus: Check Benefits and Availability

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced a new Rs. 340 prepaid plan for its users in India, quietly adding it to its lineup without a formal announcement. The plan offers a balance of voice, data, and SMS benefits, and is currently available in select telecom circles across the country.

It carries a service validity of 28 days and also includes some additional data perks aimed at late-night users and weekend streamers.

Daily Data and SMS Limit With Night Bonus

Under the Rs. 340 plan, users get 1GB of high-speed data per day, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Once the daily data cap is reached, speeds are reduced to 64Kbps for the rest of the day. For users who exceed the SMS limit, standard charges apply: Re. 1 for local SMS and Rs. 1.5 for STD messages.

Where the plan stands out is in its nighttime unlimited internet access, available from 12 AM to 6 AM. This data doesn’t count toward the daily 1GB quota, which could appeal to users who stream or download at night.

Weekend Rollover and Data Delight Benefits

The Rs. 340 plan also includes Weekend Data Rollover, a feature that moves unused weekday data to the weekend. So, for example, if a user only consumes 500MB on a weekday, the remaining 500MB is carried forward to be used during Saturday or Sunday.

Another addition is Data Delight, which lets users claim 1GB of backup data when needed, in case they run out before the day resets. All of these add-ons are bundled into the plan with no extra cost.

Available in Select Circles

While Vi hasn’t released a full list of supported regions yet, the plan is reported to be live in limited telecom circles. Users can check availability through the Vi app or website.

The rollout follows the telco’s gradual expansion of its 5G services, which recently went live in Mumbai and is expected to reach more regions like Delhi, Bihar, Karnataka, and Punjab.
