Vodafone Idea Rs 195 and Rs 315 Prepaid Plans Upgraded With More Benefits
Vodafone Idea has revised the price of two of its existing prepaid plans, adding more benefits. The cash strapped telecom operator is following the steps of Airtel in hiking tariffs in a bid to earn more revenue per user. The telecom operator has upgraded the existing Rs 195 and Rs 319 prepaid packs. The former offers more data benefits, while the latter adds to the validity.
Vodafone Idea has revised two of its existing prepaid plans by adding more benefits, in a clear bid to attract more users and increasing its average revenue per user. The move is contrary to the tariff hikes Airtel has implemented to its base prepaid plans in majority of the circles it operates in.
The upgraded Vodafone Idea plans are priced at Rs 195 and Rs 319. The former offers more data benefits to the customer, while the latter adds to the validity of the service. The company is yet to launch its 5G network. The prepaid plans offer 4G LTE connectivity.
Vodafone Idea Rs 195 and Rs 319 Plans Revised: What's New?
The Rs 195 plan now offers 3GB of data, along with unlimited calling (local and STD) and 300 SMS per day for one month. The pack also ships with Vi Movies and TV at no extra cost. Earlier, the Rs 195 plan used to offer 2GB data and 300 messages, along with unlimited calling for 31 days.
On the other hand, the Rs 319 plan's validity period has been extended to 31 days. Earlier, the plan had a validity period of 30 days. The benefits include 2GB data per day, 100 messages per day, unlimited calling, and unlimited hero benefits such as Weekend Data Rollover, Bingle All Night, along with access to Vi Movies and TV classics.
The competing Airtel plan also offers the same data and SMS benefits, for 31 days along with access to Apollo 24|7 circles for three months, Rs 100 cashback on FastTag, free Hello Tunes, and Wynk Music.

The Vi Rs 199 prepaid plan competes with the Rs 199 prepaid plan from Airtel which also offers 3GB data for 30 days, along with unlimited calling, 300 messages, and subscription to Wynk Music and free Hello Tunes.
The competing Rs 319 Airtel plan also offers the same data and SMS benefits, for 31 days along with access to Apollo 24|7 circles for three months, Rs 100 cashback on FastTag, free Hello Tunes, and Wynk Music.
