Vodafone Offering 4G Smartphones At Rs. 799 Down Payment

Vodafone has introduced a new offer for its prepaid customers, where it is providing financial assistance to buy a 4G smartphone. The telco has also partnered with Home Credit India, which is a consumer finance provider.

Under this partnership, both companies will allow customers to buy a 4G smartphone for a down payment of Rs. 799. Besides, prepaid customers can buy any new 4G smartphones with a bundled 180-day validity plan, unlimited local and national calls. It also includes 1.5GB data per day.

Customers can buy any 4G smartphone under Rs. 15,000 and this offer is available for six months. Furthermore, Vodafone informed that the customer can access this facility in 179 cities, where Home Credit India is operating.

This development comes after Jio announced its special offer on JioPhone for Diwali. Under this offer, Jio is providing JioPhone at Rs. 699 as against the current price of Rs. 1,500. That means buyers can save up to Rs. 800. Besides, the company will add Rs. 99 worth of free data.

Vodafone Offering 250MB Data With Its Rs. 69 Plan

Vodafone has also launched an Rs. 69 plan, where it is offering free SMS. It includes 150 minutes of local, STD, and roaming voice calls in addition to 250MB of data for 28 days. This plan is available in only a few circles -- Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, NCR, and Mumbai, among others. However, in Gujarat and Mumbai, this plan is providing 100 SMS messages, and it is already listed as the "Combo Recharge" on the website.

Furthermore, the official website of Idea shows that this plan is also available in Jammu and Kashmir as well as Kerala with the same benefits. This new offering by the company comes days after Vodafone launched Rs. 45 prepaid plan with full talk time.
