Xiaomi Launches Amazfit Smartwatch with GPS, Water Resistance: 6 Things You Need to Know
The Xiaomi smartwatch which has already been the subject of several rumors and leaks has now been officially launched. Today, Xiaomi's sub-brand Huami has unveiled its new smartwatch -- Amazfit.

Coming in Black and White, the Amazfit smartwatch carries a price tag of 799 yuan (approx Rs. 8,000) in China and will be available for sale starting on Wednesday.

Dust and Water resistant!
The new fitness tracker offers water resistance and can sync with smartphones and tablets through the company's Mi Fit application.

This smartwatch comes with a 1.34-inch circular display with a resolution of 300x300 pixel resolution.

This smartphone comes with scratch resistant ceramic bezel and powered by a dual-core processor ticking at 1.2GHz.

The Amazfit is clubbed with 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM under the hood. Moreover, the company has partnered with Alibaba for using Alipay.

The Amazfit is powered by a 200mAh battery that delivers up to 35 hours of usage in GPS, 5 days of battery life with normal use and 11.6 days of usage if it is used for just tracking steps and time.
