Amazfit GTS With 14 Days Battery Life Coming Soon To India

Following the launch of the Amazfit GTR back in September this year, Huami seems to be geared up to launch the Amazfit GTS smartwatch in the country. This new smartwatch will be launched in India on Amazon sometime soon, but the exact launch date remains unknown. Notably, the upcoming Amazfit offering was unveiled in China in August.

Well, the Amazfit GTS has been launched in Gray and Black colored cases with bands available in six colors. In the home market, it is priced at 899 yuan (approx. Rs. 9,000), which makes us believe that it will be priced similarly in India as well. However, we can get to know the final pricing of the Amazfit GTS in the country only when it is launched later this month.

Amazfit GTS Specifications

As the Amazfit GTS is already official in China, the same specifications will be seen in the Indian edition too. It bestows a 1.65-inch Super Retina Grade AMOLED display, colorful light metal body, custom modular dial, 14 days of battery life and the ability to track 12 sports activities. There is a BioTracker PPG bio-tracking optical heart rate sensor, location tracking with GPS, and support for up to 5ATM or 50-meter water resistance.

Amazfit GTS features an aviation-grade aluminum alloy metal body, 316L stainless steel bezel, four stainless steel buttons for convenient usage even under extreme sports conditions, and laser-engraved carbon fiber texture. There is a 3D wavy pattern on the inside to enable better heat dissipation.

When it comes to specifications, the display is an AMOLED panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is compatible with devices running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 LE for connectivity and features all the necessary aspects that a smartwatch should have.

There is a 220mAh lithium polymer battery with up to 14 days of battery life or 25 hours of continuous GPS use or up to 46 days of basic water mode operations.

What We Think

As of now, there is no word regarding the pricing of the Amazfit GTS, but we can expect it to be priced reasonably like its predecessors and compete against rivals in the space. Given that it will be launched on Amazon, we can expect it to be debut during the festive season sale for attractive offers.
