Apple Watch Saves 79-Year-Old Veterinarian By Detecting Serious Heart Issues
Apple Watch in yet another case has done its work very efficiently and saved a 79-year-old veterinarian who lives in Waco, Texas. According to the report, the Apple Watch has notified the user about the irregular and rapid heart rate which landed him to a hospital.

According to CBS Austin report, Ray Emerson who himself is a doctor said that the Apple Watch has notified him about the irregular behavior of his heart rate, after that he went to the doctor and went through the EKG test.
Later he went through a surgery to correct the irregular rhythm of his heart. "It's really important because it's a leading cause of stroke," CBS Austin quoted doctor Jason Zagrodzky, a cardiac electrophysiologist as saying.
According to the reports, during atrial fibrillation, the upper chamber of the heart when out of sync with the lower chamber which causes irregular heart rates. Later this can leads to stroke, blood clots, and heart failure as well. "It told me I wasn't feeling as good as I thought I was," Emerson added.
This is not the first case when Apple Watch has saved someone's life. Recently it was reported how the smartwatch saved a man's life who went mountain biking with his son and flipped from his bike from the cliff. After which he was unconscious, Apple Watch comes with Fall Detection feature which will sense the fall and send SOS to 911 and selected devices.
Gabe Burdett, his son received the notification of hard fall along with a map location which helped him to reach the point. However, he didn't find his father there because he was already rescued by the police and admitted him to the nearby health centre. He also received the updated location of his father from the Apple Watch.
