Google Pixel Watch 2 Launched in India with Snapdragon Chip, WearOS 4, Fitbit Integration

Apart from the Google Pixel 8 series, the search giant also launched a new wearable at its recent Made by Google event. The Pixel Watch 2 succeeds last year's Pixel Watch.

However, unlike last time, the new Pixel Watch 2 has been unveiled in India. The Google Pixel Watch 2 features brings more integration with Fitbit, enhanced app support, and better battery life. It also features a new Qualcomm chipset.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Pricing, Availability in India

The Google Pixel Watch 2 price in India is set at Rs 39,900. The Pixel Watch 2 will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart. Google's latest Pixel Watch arrives in Polished Silver, Matte Black, and Champagne Gold color options.

The smartwatch also comes with Bay, Obsidian, Hazel, and Porcelain straps. The Google Pixel Watch 2 can be purchased for Rs 19,999 with the Pixel 8 series. The Pixel Watch 2 is already up for pre-order in India. It will be available for purchase in 30 countries, including India, from October 12.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Features, Specs

The star of the show on the Pixel Watch 2 is the new Snapdragon W5+ chipset, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The Pixel Watch 2 also sports a 1.2-inch OLED display with a resolution of 384 x 384 pixels and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The screen is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The Pixel Watch 2 also features better Fitbit integration with a new multi-path heart rate sensor. The smartwatch's three new sensors can now track heart rate, skin temperature, and signs of stress. The watch also features new AI enhancements and comes with Fitbit's stress management system.

Google has also equipped the Pixel Watch 2 with 'Safety Check' feature and Emergency SOS. The watch also uses AI to provide advanced health and fitness tracking. The body sensor on the watch also offers fall detection. The Pixel Watch 2 runs WearOS 4 which offers better app support and a medical assistant feature.

The Google Pixel Watch 2 arrives in both Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-only and LTE versions. Connectivity options on the Pixel Watch 2 include GPS, Galileo, Quasi-Zenith Satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Ultra-wideband support, and more. Google also claims that the Pixel Watch 2 can offers 24 hours of battery life with the Always-on display turned on, while the watch takes around 75 minutes to fully charge.
