OnePlus Nord Buds 2 Appears on Company’s Website; Tipped to Launch in India Soon

Since the debut of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earlier this month, there has been speculation that an affordable TWS earbud, dubbed the Nord Buds 2, is in the works. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 has now been spotted on the company's website, hinting that it could launch in March. The device recently appeared on the FCC, BIS, and other certification sites.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2: Arriving Soon in India

Prolific tipster Mukul Sharma spotted the Nord Buds 2 on OnePlus' India website, reportedly under the Spare Parts category. Sharma adds that the device could launch in the country in March.

The appearance of the Nord Buds 2 on the company's India website has laid to rest all the launch rumors, and we can expect it to debut soon in the country.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2: Rumored Features

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 was seen on the FCC site last week. It is reported that the TWS earbuds will be a rebadged version of the OnePlus Buds Ace, which launched in China this month. The device is set to launch in global markets with the Nord branding.

According to the FCC listing, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will feature the same charging case design as the OnePlus Buds Ace. The case will reportedly measure 22.27 x 9.29 x 0.11 mm and include a USB Type-C port at the rear.

Each earbud could get a 41mAh battery and the case could include a 480mAh battery. We can expect the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 to inherit the Buds Ace's flat stem design with silicone ear tips. It will likely support Bluetooth 5.3 and feature an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. The earbuds could also include support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The device may come in Black and White colourways.
