OnePlus has added its new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 to its portfolio of wireless earphones in India. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS are a successor to the original OnePlus Buds Pro. The earbuds are tuned by Dynaudio and offer Spatial Audio support, 11mm dynamic drivers, ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), transparency mode, IP54 splash resistance, and up to 39 hours of battery backup, among other features. OnePlus Buds Pro 2: Features, Specifications

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are in-ear type TWS and come with silicone ear tips and a smallish stem. They pack in 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm planar diaphragm drivers for a powerful sound. The wireless earphones support the ANC feature that cuts out ambient noises up to 48dB from your surroundings. This is done with the help of three microphones on the earbuds. There's also a transparency mode, which allows the ambient sounds to filter through.

TWS are often criticized for high latency while gaming. Not with the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 as it promises a low latency of just 54ms while gaming. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are equipped with pressure-sensitive touch controls. These can be used to lower/raise volume, receive/reject calls, play/pause/forward tracks, and more.

The wireless earphones support Bluetooth v5.3 connection for fast and reliable pairing between devices. They support LHDC 5.0, AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs. Two devices can be paired with the earbuds simultaneously. Also, they offer connectivity with iOS devices apart from Android devices.

Talking about battery life, each earbud of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 gets a 60mAh battery, which promises up to nine hours of playtime (ANC Off). The backup goes down to 5.5 hours if the ANC mode is switched on. Moreover, the charging case is equipped with a 520mAh battery, which promises a combined battery backup of about 39 hours (ANC Off). The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 can be fast charged via the USB Type-C port and also supports wireless charging.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 wireless earphones have been priced at ₹11,999 in the Indian market. India also gets OnePlus Buds Pro 2R TWS that are priced at ₹9,999 They are up for preorder now and will go on open sale on February 14, 2023.
