The next Oura Ring 5 is not expected to ship until late 2027, yet an early leak already shows how the smart ring could look and which finishes may launch. The images suggest design tweaks and new colours, while internal changes are said to focus on health sensors.

According to the source, Oura is dropping the 'Rose Gold’ shade and replacing it with a fresh 'Deep Rose’ finish. This new option appears closer to a bronze-rose tone than a classic yellow gold. Existing favourites such as silver, gold and a matte black option are also planned.

The Oura Ring 5 outer shell appears more curved than on the Oura Ring 4, giving the smart ring a closer look to a standard jewellery band on the finger. This smoother profile may also help limit damage to nearby items, since some smart rings can easily scratch smartphones or tablets.
