The earbuds are equipped with an Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) feature, which is not to be confused with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Despite the lack of ANC, Xiaomi promises these buds can cut away unnecessary background noise and other interruptions during calls for clear voice capture.

Xiaomi India claims the Redmi Buds 4 Active earbuds can offer up to 30 hours of playback time, taking into consideration the charging case. Strangely, the global variant promises to offer a battery life of up to 28 hours on a single charge.

The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 Active wireless Bluetooth stereo earbuds will be available for purchase via the Xiaomi India e-store, Amazon India, and Xiaomi retail stores across the country. The earbuds and the matching cases will be available in two color options: Air White and Bass Black.

The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 are priced at ₹1,399. However, as part of a special launch offer discount, the earbuds will be available for ₹1,199. The sale of the earbuds will start in India on June 20, 2023. The launch offer will be valid for three days only.
