GTA 6 Hype Goes Too Far: Fans Reportedly Attempt Early Access by Flying Drones, Using Fake IDs
Rockstar Games has shifted the GTA 6 timeline more than once, moving the planned launch from fall 2025 to November 2026. Yet hype around Grand Theft Auto 6 continues, with fans now having taken things too far.
The latest report claims real-world attempts by fans to gain early access to GTA 6, including flying drones near Rockstar offices, using fake identification, and even allegedly planning break-ins.

GTA 6 fans reportedly attempt early access
As anticipation for GTA 6 grows, several reports within the gaming community describe fans taking extreme steps to see the game early. Some allege attempts to enter Rockstar offices without permission, using fake identification or posing as authorised visitors to approach restricted workspaces.
Other claims involve drones flown close to Rockstar studio windows, apparently to record early footage, screenshots, or images of internal GTA 6 posters. In some stories, people were said to have reached building entrances in search of any sign of the game's development, from artwork to test screens.
These GTA 6 stories surfaced first on overseas sites, then spread when YouTuber KiwiTalkz discussed them. KiwiTalkz, known for interviews with developers, said such incidents were described directly by Rockstar staff over several years.
Rockstar Games did not say a word regarding this, and there is no public proof that the described attempts actually happened. However, the mix of shifting dates, possible digital-first plans, and alleged fan intrusions shows how closely the game is being watched worldwide.
GTA 6 may skip physical release at launch
Rumours suggest that GTA 6 may skip a physical release at launch, which is expected to take place on November 16. It is rumoured to arrive initially as a digital-only title, with physical editions launching at a later date.
According to a report by Polish outlet PPE.pl, citing a source known as "Graczdari" who reportedly handles video game sales in Europe, Take-Two Interactive is not planning a physical edition of GTA 6 at launch. The move is said to be aimed at preventing potential story or gameplay leaks.
