Step 1

First of all open the Google account option in your phone and log in.

Step 2

After you've successfully registered, search for "OK Maps" on your browser.

Step 3

You will come across the installation option for Google Maps on your smartphone. Go ahead and install it. If the application is already installed in your device, try updating it for the latest maps near you.

Step 4

The application begins to install on your device. Turn on your WiFi and use it for internet access if you have a WiFi connection.

Step 5

After you're done installing the app, go to the apps menu and click on "Your places". You can also zoom in or zoom out the map and select an area of your choice.

Step 6

Once you've selected the area on the map, Save it. Do not forget to write the name of the area before you save your location.

Step 7

In the similar fashion, you can save the map of the entire city on your phone and use it even in the absence of an internet connection.
