How to Enable Reliance Jio VoLTE on Your Android, iPhone and Microsoft Lumia Phones

Last time we brought a solution for all Microsoft Lumia users to enable 4G service of Jio. This time, we are back with another important trick for all Android, iPhone and Lumia users on how to enable VoLTE on their handsets.

By far Reliance Jio is the only mobile service provider that is providing VoLTE service in India. In case you are wondering what VoLTE is and why it is getting so much buzz, here it is. VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE. This type of network provides you crystal clear HD voice and video calling facility, way better than a standard 4G LTE network.

You might be now wondering when reliance Jio is providing this, how to get it on your smartphone. So here it goes.

Method 1

Step 1: Download Dialer app from Play store (both Google and Apple)
Step 2: Once the installation is done, click settings (three dots)
Step 3: scroll down to USE VoLTE option.
Step 4: Enable the radio button on your device and you are good to go.

Method 2 (Universal process for all android users)

Step 1: Open dialer app
Step 2: Dial *#*#4636#*#*
Step 3: Click on phone information.
Step 4: tap on VoLTE flag
Step 5: Now restart your phone and you are done!

For Lumia Users

Microsoft Lumia users, who want to activate VoLTE service in their phones, need to contact Jio customer care to ask for a code for configuring. They have to dial ##7820# from their Lumia phones. Upon dialing, it will ask for the code. If you already got it, enter that. This will enable VoLTE in you Reliance Jio supported Lumia phones.
