ZTE has added a new smartphone, dubbed as Nubia Z11, in its Nubia brand of devices. Yesterday, the Chinese tech company released a teaser of the ZTE Nubia Z11 smartphone to reveal that the phone will be unveiled on Tuesday, June 28 in China. Now the phone is listed on the company's official store for a price of USD 499.99.
The company's senior vice president Ni Fai had earlier revealed that the Z11 would be unveiled in the U.S. as well as in China, simultaneously. With the phone's listing on www.nubiamobileshop.com, it seems like the company has indeed launched the phone in the US today itself.

As was given in the teaser released in Chinese, which mentioned 'Borderless' display, the phone adorns an edge-to-edge running screen, that gives an impression of a curved edged screen, but is not. It dons a unibody design with metal chassis.
As seen in the image, it has black coloured strips on the sides, which look like an extension to the display. The company has placed volume rocker and power button on the strip. There also is a capacitive key placed below the display, which could function as a Home key.
A QHD Display:
The ZTE Nubia Z11 features a 5.5-inch QHD display packing in 1440x2560 pixels resolution. Phones with such a display size are usually handy and easy to operate single handedly. As far as the display quality is concerned, the QHD display should be a visually delightful, reproduce colours well, and offer good viewing angles.
The text on teaser also mentioned that Nubia Z11 is lightning fast, indicating that it will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset. Now the official listing confirms the chipset. It is the same chipset that powers smartphones like LeEco Max2, Xiaomi Mi 5, OnePlus 3 and more. With a SD820 chipset running under the hood, the ZTE's upcoming smartphone phone is likely to be a powerhouse.
Massive RAM and storage option:
The phone was expected to be featuring a massive 6GB of RAM, along with 128GB of internal storage. Recently launched LeEco Le Max 2 and OnePlus 3 also pack in 6GB of RAM. However, the phone listed on Nubia site shows 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage.
Feature 21MP rear camera for photography enthusiasts:
The newbie was expected to boast a 21MP rear facing snapper paired with flash light, however the isting shows that it has a 16MP rear camera with flasgh, and features such as OIS and PDAF. To take care of selfies, there is be an 8MP shooter located in front.
Big battery for longer run time!
Speaking of the battery capacity, the ZTE Nubia Z11 will be powered by a 3000mAh battery to keep the device running for a day of use. Considering that the SD820 CPU supports quick charge and is more battery efficient, we expect the phone to keep the juice flowing at east for a day, on one time full battery charge.
The phone features a fingerprint scanner at the rear panel. The fingerprint scanner is a circular pad that has been placed right below the camera and flash light.
Android Marshmallow on board:
The Zte Nubia Z11 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The company has used its native UI on top of Android to offer extra features and customisations.
In terms of connectivity options, the ZTE Nubia Z11 smartphone offers 4G LTE support, and comes with a USB Type C reversible port for charging and data transfer.
Price and availability:
Considering the technical specifications of the phone, it is expected that the phone will be priced in the mid-range segment to beat the competition with LeEco Le Max 2, Xiaomi Mi 5, Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe, OnePlus 3 and more.
