HTC Sensation Vs LG Thrill – War Of The Super Smartphones
Today we preview two Smartphones from 2 of India"s most trusted Smartphone makers- LG and HTC mobile. The models under comparison are the HTC Sensation and the LG Thrill. Both the phones are high end top of the line phones that offers pretty much everything any user would expect from a Smartphone today. A clear winner of the two might be difficult to obtain but maybe the stats will help to figure out one.
When comparing the looks, both the HTC Sensation and the LG Thrill are sleek and trendy phones that have been ergonomically styled. The HTC Sensation and the LG Thrill has the same display of 4.3 inches. So both the phones are suited for good visual content experiences. The LG Thrill however has a 3D display.
The HTC Sensation rear camera is of 8 Mega Pixels. This allows high definition video recording. The LG Thrill also offers 1080p high definition video recording but it has a lower pixel rating of 5 Mega Pixels. The HTC Sensation scores in this department as it can take higher resolution pictures and comparatively it offers better quality video recording in HD. The HTC Sensation and the LG Thrill have Digital zoom and Autofocus. Both the models have HDMI out port that allows for HD playback on big screen televisions.
The HTC Sensation and LG Thrill models are powered by superfast processors and both run Android Operating System. However the HTC Sensation runs on a newer version i.e. 2.3 Gingerbread compared to the LG Thrill"s 2.2 Froyo. Thus the HTC Sensation has a slighter edge in performance and speed because the Froyo OS does have some issues when it comes to providing seamless multi tasking environment.
Both the phones have the latest in connectivity and communications technologies like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, high speed 3G and even support for 4G networks.
The pricing of the phones too are in similar fashion as the HTC Sensation and the LG Thrill are priced at around Rs 35,000. So it is difficult to pick a clear winner but due to certain small features such as camera and slightly faster performance, the HTC Sensation is a tad better than the LG Thrill, but it was a close call.
