Several rumors are swirling in the tech media world about the LG’s rumored Nexus 4 smartphone expected to be announced by Google at the special Android event on Monday, October 29. Amid the same, a report has surfaced online that LG E960 support manuals has confirmed the Nexus 4 name and it is expected to be running the latest Android 4.2 OS.
Earlier this month, LG’s rumored Nexus device was listed in the Carphone Warehouse inventory system. Furthermore, reports and leaks also disclosed that the upcoming Nexus smartphone will be Google-branded LG-made device and will hold the label – “LG Nexus 4”. Consweuently, the latest image leak of the support manuals indicates that the device has an induction coil for wireless charging and excludes any microSD slot for additional storage.
Earlier reports from the trustworthy Twitter user, @evleaksalso leakedanother image showing the front, back and side of the handset.The trusted source also confirmed the next Google Nexus phone will be manufactured by LG and hence will carry the name of LG Nexus 4. Further the latest report has informed that LG Nexus 4 will be using a 1.5 GHz powered Snapdragon S4 Pro Krait quad-core processor and will ship with 2GB RAM capable of providing better device efficiency.
Meanwhile, the rumored LG Nexus 4 is expected to have similar specifications to the LG Optimus G, which may come with a 2GB of RAM with a 1280 x 768 True-High Definition IPS display, presence of 8 megapixels rear camera and 1.3 mega pixels front facing camera.
The new Nexus smartphone is also informed to be powered by an efficient 2,100 mAh battery; however the source mentioned that the battery would be non-removable. Regarding dimensions, the handset will feature a thickness of 9.1mm and will weigh approximately 139 grams making it quite easy for users to carry around.
Further, LG Nexus 4 will be reportedly made available to users in two internal storage options including 8GB and 16GB variants.
