Micromax Canvas Engage A091: Cheapest Android Kitkat smartphone to Launch at Rs 6,000
Just yesterday, Micromax surprised the fans with the launch of Unite 2 A106, one of the most affordable handsets in the Indian market with Android KitKat OS. But looks like, Micromax is apparently not done trying to beat the Moto E and Moto G sales in India, as a new handset called by the name Micromax Canvas Engage A091 has surfaced online which supposedly is more cheaper than the Unite 2 A106 that was launched yesterday.

The company is surely putting a hard effort to bring down the sales of the recent Motorola phones in India. Thus this particular handset is also flavored with Android KitKat OS.
The image of the retail box of the handset has also appeared online clearly showing the name and Android version used in the handset. Moreover, the pricing of the handset is speculated to be more affordable than the Unite 2 A106. Precisely, it is said to be lesser than Rs. 6,000.
Micromax Canvas Engage A091 - What about specs?
According to the website, which has posted the details of the handset, the Canvas Engage A091 smartphone will come with a 4 inch display with WVGA display. It would be powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 512MB of RAM. Also a 4GB of native storage unit is used in the handset. No word on the microSD card slot.
Imaging is not too bad as it features a 5MP rear camera along with a front-facing 0.3MP unit. The site also says that the Canvas Engage supports HD playback and recording too.
Latest smartphone from Micromax is also enabled with connectivity options like WIFi, GPS, Bluetooth and more. Obviously it is a dual SIM handset.
Micromax Canvas Engage A091 comes powered by 1500mAh, which according to the same site will offer talk time of 5.5 hours and standby time of 200 hours.
