IFA 2015: Archos Diamond Tab Unveiled with LTE and Android Lollipop on board

French tech brand Archos has recently launched its first Octa-Core 4G/LTE tablet Archos Diamond Tab to compete with the powerhouses in this category. It's a high-end flagship tablet which features 4G/LTE connectivity and dual Band WiFi.

As per the company's press release, the Archos Diamond Tab will be available on Archos webstore online in October 2015 at a price of around £179.00 (Rs 19,000 approx.)

Archos Diamond Tab - Key Specifications

The new Diamond Tab boasts a 7.9-inch IPS display with 1536 x 2048 pixels and will be touting a weight of 380 grams and a thickness of 7.8mm.

Further, the tablet is powered by a 64-bit, octa-core Mediatek MT8752 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, further featuring 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, microSD card support, and a 4800 mAh battery. On the camera front, the Archos Diamond Tab has a 5 MP camera, while its front-facing camera is a 2 MP one.

Also, the Archos Diamond Tab runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. This software features great battery management and a sophisticated, playful interface design, whose colors render beautifully on the beautiful screen. With access to the Google Play store, Chrome, Gmail, Hangouts, and more, any user can find what they need to customise their device.
