Philips Targets Millenials With New True Wireless In-Ear Headphones
Philips has rolled out a couple of new gadgets in the country recently. The latest are two new wireless in-ear headphones with Bluetooth 5.0 support. The two wireless headphones SHB2515 and SHB2505 will be available for purchase at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 7,999, respectively, in the coming days. Philips says both headphones pack 6mm speaker drivers and passive noise cancellation.
Philips True Wireless In-Ear Headphones
According to Philips, both variants of the headphones pack a sleek design. The passive noise cancellation of the headphones is supposed to enhance the sound output at lower volumes. Additionally, the truly wireless earphones feature wingtips for a better and more secure fit, Philips says.
Going into the features, the Philips SHB2515 headphones claim 95 hours of playtime and the second variant, the Philips SHB2505 model is believed to deliver 15 hours of playtime. Interestingly, Philips has designed the first model SHB2515 with a charging case that can also be used as a power bank with 3,350mAh capacity for smartphones.
Philips is targeting the millennials with the new headphones. "For millennials, smartphones have become the key source of entertainment for videos, songs, and content on the go, therefore good headphones remain the favorite choice of audiophiles as it creates an overall exciting experience," said Mr. Arun Menon, Country Business Head, Philips Branded Television and Audio.
Philips Products In Indian Market
More recently, Philips launched a new 800 Series Air Purifiers as part of its home IoT offering. There's been a steady rise of air purifiers in the Indian market to combat the spiking pollution levels. At the same time, Philips is eyeing to expand its market share of smart TVs here.
A few months ago, the Dutch-company rolled out a new range of smart bulbs. The new range of true wireless headphones adds to the list of product offerings from the company. The Philips true wireless in-ear headphones are priced Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 7,999 and will be available via all leading offline and online retailers in India.
