Xiaomi Teases New Mi Band Launch In India On November 21

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 was launched in India recently. Now, the company has started teasing the launch of a new wearable in the Mi Band series. Notably, the launch is slated for November 21 but there is no confirmation regarding the model that will be launched.

Going by the official teaser image shared by Mi India Twitter handle, the soon-to-be-launched wearable could be a customized variant such as the HRX Edition. For the uninitiated, the Mi Band HRX bears Mi Band 2i branding on the box. Now, the 'i' on the teaser image and the image of the band hints that the Mi Band 3i could be launched in India.

Notably, Xiaomi is also conducting a RunWithMi running event on December 1, 2019 titled Energized by Mi Smart Band. The company claims that it will provide participants with a new edition of the Mi Smart Band.

New Xiaomi Mi Band Expected Price

Well, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 was launched for Rs. 1,999 and is now selling for Rs. 1,799. And, the company launched the Mi Band 4 in the country recently for Rs. 2,299. So, this makes us believe that the upcoming special edition model could be launched at a lesser cost than the Mi Band 3. However, there is no confirmation regarding the same.

For now, there is not much information regarding the Mi Band that is slated to be launched on November 21. We can get more details at the time of its launch, which is just two days from now.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Specifications

To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is fitted a 0.95-inch AMOLED 24-bit color touch screen display with 120 x 240 pixels and 2.5D scratch-resistant glass. The improved color display shows steps, time, notifications from calls and apps on the paired smartphone, heart rate, activities, weather, etc. The Mi Band 3 successor features an in-built microphone for voice control, but it is supported only by the NFC variant.

sWith a Photoplethysmography or heart rate sensor, the Mi Band 4 can monitor your heart rate. Also, it tracks sleep patterns with the Sedentary reminder feature. The Mi Band 4 has 5ATM water-resistant feature letting it withstand up to 50 meters underwater. There is Bluetooth 5.0 LE for connectivity. While a 135mAh battery powers the standard variant offering 20 days of battery life, the NFC variant is fueled by a 125mAh battery delivering 15 days of backup.
