Lift your finger to send the voice message
After recording the voice message, you just have to lift your finger from the icon to send the voicemail to the contact. Also, you can discard the message by sliding across the screen's left.
Gets delivered as a chat
The Voice Message that the recipient has received will be sent to the contact just like an audio message and it can be found in the chat window.

This way, you need not go to the contact's chat window and send a voice message. Its easy to send it right from the call screen, so it becomes a handy feature addition to WhatsApp.
