iPhone Users Can Now Avail Live Caller ID On Truecaller With Premium Subscription

Truecaller, the app best known for its called identification service, has finally brought its live caller identification feature for iOS users. In one of the biggest updates for iPhone users, the app launched a whole host of features, and one of the key ones was the Live caller ID, which has been available for Android users for a while now. However, the only catch is that only those with a premium truecaller membership will be able to avail of this feature.

The Swedish company also introduced a plethora of new features with the recent update, including spam identification and spam filtering, number look-up widget, and detection of SMS messages.

Trucaller Introduces Live Caller ID for iPhone

The Truecaller app has been widely popular in Indian markets due to the high rate of spam callers. However, iOS users still lacked one feature that Android users had access to, the live caller ID, which is what the app has now introduced with its latest update.

As understood from the name itself, the Live Called ID helps identify callers at the calling screen itself. This entails that a name, with notations of spam markers and even purposes, are available for users when the phone rings, even before they pick up. This is the simple process for Android users.

However, Apple users have to navigate this slightly differently. When iOS users get a call from an unknown number, they'll have to activate Siri to to find the caller ID. A tweet explained this, where users have to say "Hey Siri, Search Truecaller" to get the caller ID.

Truecaller Live Caller ID Available For Premium Users Only

The only catch is that these isn't a free feature for iOS users. A premium subscription is needed for users to use this feature.

Truecaller presently offers different kinds of premium subscription plans for Indian users. The plans are priced at Rs 529 per year for an individual member. One can also get three months for Rs 179. A Gold plan costs Rs 5,000 per year.

The app also has a family plan scheme, for multiple members, which is priced at Rs 132 per month or Rs 925 per year.
