    WhatsApp has been testing out several new features to the Android app. Recently, we saw that the app is all set to bring verified business accounts as in Facebook and Twitter.

    According to a tweet by @WABetaInfo, the tipster well known to reveal the upcoming features of WhatsApp those are in testing, the beta version of the app for Android with the version number 2.17.316 comes with a new feature. It is claimed that this WhatsApp version will let users reply to a specific message in a group just by tapping on the message.

    Previously, users had to do reply to messages in a group by tapping on the message, selecting the reply button at the top and then typing the message. With the WhatsApp for Android beta 2.17.316, users can reply in just two steps as the users need to just tap on the specific message and then start typing the response. Once the reply message is sent, the original message will be quoted as seen in the image above.

    The final output will be as shown by the source and it will have the original message quoted with the reply as well. The addition of the quick reply feature to the WhatsApp groups will definitely be a welcome feature among users and will make the process of responding to messages in a group effective and convenient.

    Talking about the Verified Business feature on WhatsApp, the business accounts those are verified will get green tick as seen on Facebook and Twitter. Also, the businesses can effectively engage their consumers through WhatsApp.
