As Apple is speculated to compete with the low priced 7 inch tablets including Amazon Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7 with the iPad Mini, it should come with a competitive price tag. As claimed by several reports from numerous sources, iPad Mini will be priced starting at $249 (approx. Rs 14,000).

However, according to some tech experts, the iPad Mini will be priced at $299 (approx. Rs 16,000) for the starting version.

Speaking of the release date, iPad Mini, the downsized version of the iPad is reportedly set to hit the retail shelves on November 2, 2012. As per a TechCrunch report, Apple will debut the shipping of the tablet in a week and a half from its unveiling, that is on October 23.

Prior to TechCrunch, a report by Geeky Gadgets also pegged at a November 2 release date of the smaller iPad, claiming that it received the information from a UK retailer.
