Boat Stone 200A Bluetooth Speakers With Alexa Support Launched

Boat has rolled out a new Bluetooth speaker called the Boat Stone 200A in India. As expected, the Boat speaker packs some useful features like water, shock, and dust resistant, thanks to its IPX6 rating. Priced at Rs. 1,499, the speaker offers a built-in Amazon Alexa assistant.

Boat Stone 200A Features

The images of the new Bluetooth speaker show a sturdy and compact design. The Boat Stone 200A measures 96.5 x 88 x 49mm and weighs 240g. It has a 1.96-inch full-range driver with a 3W output and a frequency range of 180Hz-20KHz and an impedance of 4 ohms.

The Boat Stone 200A has Bluetooth 4.1 for connectivity. There is also an AUX port and a USB port for charging the speaker. The gadget also packs a 1,500 mAh battery that claims eight to ten hours of wireless playback. It is believed that the speakers would take approximately three hours to charge completely.

The speaker has five buttons on the top, which include the music playback, volume controls, and a multifunction key. Users can download the Boat Lifestyle app to avail the best of the speaker, Boat says. The app is available on both Google Play Store and the iOS store.

For Amazon Alexa functionality, users can access it via the Amazon Alexa app. Once set up with the Boat speaker, the Alexa wake word can be summoned to play songs and change track.

Previously, the company had launched the Boat Stone 700A for Rs. 3,499 that also packed with support for Alexa voice assistant. The new Boat Stone 200A is an affordable option in the market now for those looking for a Bluetooth speaker with a voice assistant support.
