WhatsApp is finally bringing the video calling feature to its instantly messaging app for Android. The functionality will be a part of the WhatsApp Messenger 2.16.80 version and it will come very soon.
Well, you can still access the WhatsApp video calling feature by tapping on the phone icon that is at the top right corner of the chat window. Earlier, this icon initiated a voice call, but now it will let you choose between a voice call and a video call.

However, you cannot make a video call from WhatsApp as tapping on the icon will show you that it cannot make the call as the feature is still in testing.
Those who want to try the video calling feature on WhatsApp can actually do the same even while it is in the testing phase. Well, there is an app to do the same on both iPhone and Android devices.
Making Video Calls To WhatsApp Contacts Using Booyah Is Quite Simple
Well, here are the steps that you need to carry out to make video calls on WhatsApp. Interestingly, it also lets you make group video calls on the messaging platform.

Step 1: First, you need to open the Google Play Store or iTunes Store to download the Booyah app. Ensure that the person on the other hand also has this app installed on his or her device.
Step 2: Once it is installed, the app will access all your WhatsApp contacts. On providing permissions, it will access the photos, media, camera, files, Wi-Fi, mic, and network on Android devices.

Step 3: As soon as initiate a video call, it will send give a link to the video chat where the contacts can join. In case, you close the app during a call, the video will freeze. However, you will be connected to the video call by means of voice calls.
