HDFC Netbanking, Mobile App Suffering Outage For Past 48 Hours
Many must have thought it was an issue with the internet. However, it looks like the HDFC netbanking website and mobile apps are down for more than 48 hours. The same has been reported by several users across social media websites.

A lot of users are facing problems, as it is the beginning of the month, where the salaried employees have to make a lot of transactions and this bug is stopping users from doing so.
When I tried to log in to the HDFC Mobile app on an iPhone, I was greeted with an infinite loading page that did not change even after ten minutes. Similarly, one cannot use the web version as well. This issue was first reported on December 2 at around 10 AM and the issue is still persistent.
When I tried to log in using the Google Chrome browser, I was able to login using my credentials. However, the information showcased post the login page did not have any information whatsoever. Here is a screenshot of the same.

However, I was able to transfer money using the Google Pay UPI without any issue, which is a bit of relief as one can easily transfer funds to third-party accounts using the same.
"Due to a technical glitch, some of our customers have been having trouble logging into our net banking and Mobile Banking App. Our experts are working on it on top priority, and we're confident we'll be able to restore services shortly. While we deeply regret the inconvenience caused, there's no cause for undue concern," said HDFC
Though HDFC has not given any time frame, the baking giant has admitted the issue and is working towards resolving the same. In the meantime, use any of the UPI apps to transact money until HDFC fixes the issue.
